In the Footsteps of C.G. Jung
An Introduction to Zurich and Switzerland

June 14 – 17, 2017

This program was just completed. It is generally held every other year. Join our mailing list to be notified the next time the training is offered. When it is offered, it will be much like this.

This workshop offers the opportunity to awaken to the inner and outer landscapes of the psyche. We will settle into our conference center in Einsiedeln, the Hotel Allegro, and explore the region before the intensive rhythms of the Sandplay program begins. We will honor our inner world as well welcoming dreams, symbols, and images that help awaken a relationship to gifts from our own unconscious.

Zurich and nearby Kusnacht and Zollikon are the areas where both Carl Jung and Dora Kalff lived and worked. This is the land where Jungian psychology and Sandplay were born and developed and the atmosphere is rich and palpable. In these first days together we will explore this unique area, see some of the most interesting sites in Zurich, enjoy the natural beauty of the area, and adjust to the time and place.

We will travel by train to Kusnacht, the charming village where Carl Jung lived, worked, and raised his family. We will take a ferry on the beautiful Lake of Zurich to Rapperswil and see its Old Town. In Zurich we’ll explore the best of the city, walk along the River Limmat, see the famous Chagall windows in the Fraumunster, and shop for sandplay miniatures.

Making a connection to the larger context is enriching and helps us experience the roots and history of Sandplay. This provides a perfect preparation for the training to follow.

The training program enhanced by the pre-conference workshop offers an experience of a lifetime. We hope you will join us!

“The grounding of the first three days was the highlight.”

“I felt every aspect of the program was well thought out, planned, and carried out. The information was excellent, the travel days were terrific, and the balance between all aspects was excellent.”
